This Living Chess can be defined as a ‘story told through a theatrical representation, performed by schoolchildren, based on a game of chess.’

This edition, entitled “Somni d'una nit d'estiu” (A Midsummer Night's Dream), will deal with reality and dreams, what society expects of us and what our hearts tell us, conventions and personal vindication, through an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’.

The music will be performed by the Orchestra of the Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia, the choreography has been created by the EnDanza group, the narrator will be Juan Antonio Sapena, the guest of honour will be the Valencian journalist Carolina Ferre and this year's poster has been designed by Loreto Gavilà.

The event will take place on Saturday 26 July at 10.30 pm on Avinguda de Lepanto.
