In the play, “Antes te gustaba la lluvia” (“You used to like the rain”), we witness the reunión of a couple who, almost ten years ago, suffered a dramatic event which changed their lives forever.

Completely ignorant of each other during this period, once again face to face, they will relive this story from the past that will never vanish, no matter what they do.

We shall explore this past full of silences and memories and we shall see how the transformation that has taken place in both of them reveals how each of them has faced life and have come to understand the loss and pain.

Lot Vekemans has given us a deeply moving and emotional play; a play that captures us as spectators and identifies us with the emotional journey of its leading characters; a play that shows, in spite of all their differences, that they are able to establish a new beginning and together they open a door for hope.
