He has a University Degree in Philosophy and Literature, Law and Journalism from the CEU San Pablo University; he has worked as a sports journalist in events such as the Olympic Games, World Football Championships, major Tennis Tournaments such as Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the Davis Cup, and Golf Tournaments such as the Augusta Masters and the Ryder Cup. In 1990, he directed the "Estudio Estadio" Sports Program in TVE, where he was News Presenter from 1981 to 1993.
