A prestigious Doctor and Neurosurgeon from Valencia.
Born in Valencia in 1949. Manuel Bordes completed his studies in Medicine in 1973, in which he specialised in Neurosurgery in the “La Paz” Hospital in Madrid in 1977. In 1976, he obtained the Degree of Neurosurgery Specialist from EANS (European Association of Neurosurgical Society). In 1980 , he also specialised in Neurology and recently in 2012, he completed the University Degree in Dentistry. He worked as the Head of the Neurosurgery Service of the Valencian Institute of Oncology (IVO) until 2007.
He has participated in diverse Spinal Cord Surgery books as an Expert in the dynamic stabilization of the spine, as well as a speaker in numerous national and international conferences.
Since he was a small child, he spent summers in Xàbia with his parents, which inspired his great love and devotion to the town and its people.
Among his hobbies, we highlight Opera, classical music, reading with special devotion to the study of art, viticulture and gastronomy and in general, his curiosity about all aspects of life based on the culture of people.
He has played sports at a professional level such as judo (black belt), handball, golf and fishing (always with his dear friends, the fishermen of Xabia).
