Leisure for Young People
Xàbia features several events throughout the year focused on young people which are really fun and interesting.
Leisure and adventure activities such as:
-Xàbia Active Extreme: skate, scooter and bmx (Query the dates with Monjove).
-10th Children's Football Campus by the “Penya la Marina” (in July).
-Rhythmic Gymnastics Summer Campus (Club Esportiu Montgó Xàbia).
-Children's Basketball Campus by Joventut Xàbia (July).
The Youth Department called Monjove offers Workshops and Courses so that young people can learn and have fun at the same time. Options include: winter and summer camp and English language immersion.
Another resource is the PlayJove space (located on Plaza de la Constitución) for teenagers (12 - 18 years old), an alternative entertainment space open from monday to friday. On fridays there is a special programming in the centre and sports activities in the square.
Skate, scooter and bmx lovers have the public Skate Park, located on the square called Portal del Clot, of totally free use.
On the other hand, there are Clubs and Private Companies where it is possible to play sports at any time, enjoy the sea or the mountains, or simply enjoy amusing moments together with friends or family.
At the municipal level, there are paddle tennis courts C/ Genova, núm 2, as well as handball/wall tennis courts and football pitches in C/Molí Safranera, as well as an Athletic Track next to the school: Colegio Graüll.
The Cinema called Cine Jayan in the port is an excellent opportunity to have a fun time. In Summer, leisure options expand with the Summer Outdoor Cinema: “Cine vora la Mar” located at the beach, Playa del Arenal.
All these activities are complemented with an attractive variety of Nightlife activities.
