Traditional singer Jorge Gumbau (Betxí, la Plana Baixa, 2005) first discovered his passion for traditional Valencian music at 14. After witnessing a folk performance in his village, he felt a deep calling to ensure this music would never be lost. This inspired him to begin gathering "coplas" (traditional verses) firsthand from the elders who still remember and sing these ancient, ancestral melodies.
