XXIII Xàbia Jazz Internacional Festival 2025

The international Xàbia Jazz Festival returns this August to the Plaza de la Constitución at 10:30pm. with a top-notch line-up. 2 August: Performance by Stochelo & Moses Rosenberg Trio and Costel Nitescu. 3 August: Performance by Alex Conde y Los Indultados and Sandra Carrasco. 4 August: Performance by The Ray Gelato & The Giants.

On 2 August, Stochelo & Moses Rosenberg Trio and Costel Nitescu will open the festival. The brothers Stochelo and Mozes Rosenberg, world-class guitarists in the field of Gypsy Jazz, with important independent careers, have joined forces in a new and exciting project in which they perform some of Charlie Chaplin's wonderful compositions, as well as a selection of their own songs. In collaboration with the Chaplin family, they are releasing a new album in 2025 that includes the most notable melodies of the brilliant artist, as well as several of the brothers' own compositions dedicated to Chaplin that are part of the excellent documentary ‘The Spirit of the Tramp’. This can be viewed at 6pm at the Jayan Cinema, for a symbolic price of 3€.
In addition, the concert will feature the collaboration of virtuoso violinist Costel Nitescu, unanimously considered an extraordinary disciple of the style created by the late master Stephane Grappelli.

On 3 August, it will be Alex Conde's turn, accompanied by Sandra Carrasco. Alex Conde is a key figure in the evolution of flamenco jazz. On this occasion, leading his group of 10 musicians and with the wonderful voice of Sandra Carrasco as a special guest, Conde presents an innovative and creative project where, starting with the most representative popular songs, coplas and pasodobles such as Amparito Roca or Suspiros de España, he skilfully combines his influences in funk, jazz, hip-hop and progressive rock, offering a fresh and engaging version.

On 4 August, Ray Gelato & The Giants will close the festival. British singer, saxophonist and composer Ray Gelato is undoubtedly one of the best and most recognized musicians in the swing scene, captivating audiences around the world with his exuberant mix of swing and jazz, as well as his showmanship. Ray Gelato and his band have been the choice of world-renowned festivals and venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreux and Umbria, among others.
