Born in Tokyo, Yukiko Akagi made her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2004 and since then, her career has been a huge success across the USA, performing in several of New York’s most important concert halls. Described as a "natural performer and communicator", she has been praised by Harris Goldsmith of the New York Concert Review as "a pianist who displays unique temperament and vitality". Yukiko Akagi  shall perform compositions by Frédéric Chopin and Federico Mompou.
