Leisure for Children
Even the smallest children have numerous options to have a great time in Xàbia.
At the beach Playa del Arenal, you may enjoy a relaxing day at the beach where little toddlers can play in the playgrounds installed in the sand as well as splash in the sea; you may also hire a paddle boat (patín a pedales) and navigate through the bay in a leisurely stroll. Later on, you can go for a walk along its lovely promenade, where a handicrafts market is set up at sunset every night in Summer.
In Summer, you can also enjoy the Children's Amusement Park with merry-go-rounds, bumper cars and other fun rides installed in the Arenal zone. World famous circuses also visit Xàbia every Summer.
The Villa Experience Xàbia is a space designed for the enjoyment of the whole family, located in the Fontana area (near Arenal Beach), where the little ones will be the protagonists and will live an unforgettable summer with shows, educational workshops, circuits , makeup, free play areas... There will also be a gastronomic space with culinary workshops and gourmet food trucks with Mediterranean, Asian and Mexican food, sweets... All enlivened with music and different performances.
Other alternatives are the establishments or cafés with playgrounds for children which are excellent places to organize children's parties as well as spend an evening at the Go-Karts or playing Mini-Golf in the Arenal zone.
In addition, for the families who plan to spend a long Summer holiday here, there is a wide range of fun activities, courses or campus in order to learn different types of sports especially designed for young children and organized by the city's different clubs and sports associations such as the Tennis Club, the Yacht Club, etc. There are also Summer Schools with a variety of activities which combine study and entertainment.
In the majority of the Holiday Festivities which are celebrated throughout the year, we dedicate a special day to children's activities where everything is organized especially for them: inflated castles, games, storytellers, workshops, handicrafts, theatre performances and more....
At Christmas , we also organize a Christmas Children's Fair for several days called "Nadal Jove"; it involves recreational-sports activities installed in the Municipal Sports Centre, where children of all ages are welcome to participate free of charge.
In the surrounding areas of Xàbia, you can find numerous Amusement Parks, Aquatic Parks, and Animal Zoos such as Terra Mítica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia, Mundomar, Bioparc or La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, which are all excellent entertainment options for the entire family.
